Ireland

Ireland was a momentous trip as it was my first time not only to Europe, but traveling overseas alone. "Why Ireland?" was a common question. Truth be told, the Irish speaking English was a big reason as it's the only language I know (for now). I've always had an interest in the Emerald Isle, and Irish accents are some of my favorite.

I was based in Dublin but didn't stay confined to the city. I visited the west coast and the famous Cliffs of Moher and nearby village of Galway. My next sightseeing adventure took me south to Glendalough to view the Wicklow Mountains and Monastic City. A good deal of time was spent exploring Dublin and its rich history. One of my favorite places in Ireland was Howth - a pleasant surprise.
